Yeah, that’s me and those may be the infamous Mountains of Maddness, or perhaps just a photo from one of my snowshoe trips.

Aside from my life long passion for the outdoors, I spent the vast majority of my time growing up with my nose in a book or scratching away in a sketch book.

At some point I encountered Edgar Allan Poe which led me to writers such as H.P. Lovecraft, Clive Barker, Stephen King and others. Ever since then I’ve had a fascination, or perhaps obsession with the Weird and the Macabre.

These days I still have my nose in a book and draw when I’m not working 40 plus hours at my day job, or helping my wife raise our children. Despite the years that have gone by creativity is still a big part of my life and an excelent way to escape the trials and tedium of being a middle aged man.
